BryLin’s Dr. Kulwant Buttar Receives Distinguished Fellow Award

BUFFALO, N.Y. – BryLin Congratulates Dr. Kulwant Buttar for receiving the 2023 American Psychiatric Association’s Distinguished Fellow Award. This award recognizes outstanding psychiatrists who have made significant contributions to the psychiatric profession in at least five of the following areas: administration, teaching, scientific and scholarly publications, volunteering in mental health and medical activities of social significance, community involvement and clinical excellence. Each year the APA recognizes preeminent members for their contributions to the community over their careers.

With over five decades of experience, Dr. Buttar is a board-certified psychiatrist who is affiliated with Buffalo Psychiatric Center and BryLin Hospital.

With a passion for the field of psychiatry and her unwavering commitment to her specialty, Dr. Buttar excels at changing the lives of her patients for the better. “Dr. Buttar is a prime example of a true leader in health care.
