What Insurance Plans Does BryLin Hospital Accept?

BryLin Hospital accepts most major commercial insurance plans, Medicare and Managed Medicaid plans.

Please note that federal regulations prohibit coverage for inpatient psychiatric treatment under straight Medicaid for many adults ages 21 to 64 due to the Institution for Mental Diseases (IMD) exclusion.

Frequently Asked Questions About What to Pack for a Hospital Stay

What Should I Bring?

Please bring:

  • All prescription medications, supplements, or a current medication list

  • Razors, scissors, needles, glass containers, or other sharp objects
  • Shoelaces, belts, scarves, ropes, cords, and similar items
  • Mouthwash containing alcohol
  • Hairspray, aerosol sprays, nail polish remover
  • Matches and lighters
  • Stuffed animals, pillows, or blankets from home
  • Cameras, camcorders, or recording devices
  • Televisions, stereos, gaming devices, and other electronics
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Candles, incense, or flammable materials
  • Plastic bags
  • Any other item deemed unsafe by the clinical treatment team

If prohibited items arrive at the hospital, our staff will either secure them until discharge or release them to a family member or support person.
